January 19, 2009 --- “Pianafiddle” --- (Is it Bluegrass? Classical, old time, ragtime or blues? All of the above); The Griffin Area Concert Association presents “Pianafiddle,” Mon, Jan 19th at 7:30 P.M. at the Griffin Auditorium. Pianist Lynn Wright and violinist/fiddler Adam DeGraff blend the known and unknown in bluegrass, jazz, classical, ragtime and Celtic music. Tickets: 770-227-6185.

January 24, 2009 --- “Griffin/Spalding Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner” --- (The Griffin Chamber of Commerce presents dinner and dancing with the PartyTime Band at the Events Center, 19/14 North of downtown); 770-228-8200.

February 13-15 --- “Alice in Wonderland” --- (the ballet recreates Lewis Carroll's story of Alice who falls down a rabbit-hole into a fantastic realm populated by peculiar and whimsical creatures); presented by Griffin Ballet Theatre; 115 North Hill Street.

February 16-20 --- Midwinter Break for GSC Schools.
